Dosage Chart & Instructions for Veko Milbental Dewormer
Veko Milbental is a broad-spectrum dewormer combining milbemycin oxime and praziquantel, effective against intestinal worms and heartworm prevention. There are two formulations:
- Milbental S (small/puppy): contains 2.5 mg milbemycin oxime + 25 mg praziquantel per tablet.
- Milbental L (large/medium–large dogs): contains 12.5 mg milbemycin oxime + 125 mg praziquantel per tablet.
Recommended Dosage:
- Small dogs & puppies (Milbental S): 1 tablet for body weight 0.5–5 kg.
- Medium–large dogs (Milbental L): 1 tablet per 20–25 kg body weight.
In routine use, administer as a single oral dose with or after food every 3 months, for pregnant dogs, dosing is recommended at mating, 10 days before whelping, and then every 3 months thereafter, in areas with whipworm or hydatid tapeworm risk, dosing may be advised every 6–8 weeks or 6 weeks respectively, guided by a veterinarian.
Note: Always weigh your dog accurately before dosing, exceeding the recommended body weight range warrants veterinary consultation.
